Case study

TIC – VP Life Sciences Testing

Our client is a $5b t/o testing, inspection, and certification business with a global presence and over 80,000 staff. They engaged Strativ to support them on hiring for a VP level position, reporting directly into the COO to be part of the global senior management team. The role would be responsible for all aspects of the P&L, operations, performance, and business development of the health & nutrition team in central Europe.
As this was a business-critical hire due to the demand of the growing market, our client retained Strativ as time and quality were a priority. Our specialist consultants’ network of senior leaders in the Europe region, our proven expertise and experience in this specific sector, and the high success rate on delivery were the key components that helped make this assignment a success. The role was filled within 6 weeks of sign off.

CSA

We have partnered with CSA for over 4 years. We placed over 150 candidates with them and have helped staff full labs for the business in Germany and Toronto, in addition to a state-of the art plant for testing and storage lab in Cleveland.
We have built a strong relationship with internal stakeholders and hiring manager teams, as well as the candidates we have placed. We have worked on up to 90 vacancies for CSA at one time, so we have really immersed ourselves with their business, speaking to as many team members as possible to ensure we understand and can mirror the culture throughout the hiring process.
We have discovered an untapped talent pool in Turkey, with a relatively smooth visa process or science/technical roles. We have supported 10 Turkish candidates relocate to Germany, and genuinely believe we have changed their lives for the better; one candidate we supported received an uplift from 9k to 54k annual salary.

The business currently stands at a headcount of 40-50 incredibly intelligent individuals, looking to grow by 500% over the coming years. To reach the ambitious people growth targets, Optics11’s wanted to bring in external expertise, and have partnered with Strativ to deliver this.
