With the intermittent nature of power production from renewable resources such as Solar, Wind, etc, the mission and vision for large scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) to be developed and implemented for GRID stability has been truly acknowledged by many. With a background in E-mobility, we have grown in this area to supported clients with their new, large scale BESS projects, as both retrofit, and standalone projects.
Adding to the intermittent nature of renewable energy sources, alongside the growth and integration of BESS’s to support trusted input to the grid, power stations alongside other mechanisms will be required to meet energy economy demands. With renewables being such a new industry, a high number of our consultants built their professionalism and expertise in fossil fuel power plants. This expertise is readily deployed in low carbon technologies

Our Next Energy
We have partnered with Our Next Energy (ONE) for just over 12 months (on-going). They first reached out to us as they had grown to circa 40 heads quickly, however they needed support elevating this to the next level of scale. They had previously worked with external agencies but hadn’t found a partner that could provide the quality of talent, nor could work at the speed required to meet business goals.
They instructed Strativ to recruit a wide range of roles and levels of seniority, all with an incredibly niche tech skill-set. All candidates were to be based in the US across two States: California and Michigan.
We have successfully placed 50+ roles with ONE with a 100% staff retention rate (to date) and all placements in an average of 6 weeks following instruction.
Ionblox
We have worked with Ionblox for 6 months (to date).
They reached out to Strativ after hearing about our successful work with Our Next Energy and Lilium, where we placed the Head of Energy who has chosen Ionblox as a supplier. The business is scaling from R&D to volume manufacturing of their pouch cells, so instructed Strativ in the recruitment of the Director of Manufacturing and Director of Quality. Both requirements were critical for the business’s growth and success.
We successfully placed both roles within 9 weeks from initial instruction. The positions were based in Fremont, and the successful candidates we’re from Taiwan and Shanghai. For roles of this level and within this niche, this speed of hire was extremely well-received by the client and has allowed them to scale at the pace desired.
